Later correction or expungement can also make an old copy misleading. Check the current disposition with HPD, the First Circuit court that heard the case, or HCJDC before relying on a record.
Treat every record you find as a starting point, not a verdict. Only the originating agency can confirm what a record currently says and whether it is still releasable.

No page on this website is an official record. Confirm a court date with the Judiciary, a police report with HPD, custody through DCR or SAVIN/VINE, a conviction history with HCJDC, and a registry entry through the Hawaiʻi Sex Offender & Other Covered Offender Search. Only the maintaining agency can issue an official or certified copy.
